Saturday Squiggy
Squiggy called a meeting of the board. First order of business: unfair canine favoritism. Proposal: More pictures emphasizing the artistic qualities of felines shall be featured on the blog.
All in favor, say "Meow." All opposed? The vote being one in favor, none opposed, the measure passes.
Meeting is adjourned.

One in favor? Are you kidding! Make that 9 in favor. I and my collective brood heartily agree with this much needed revision. And we do love dogs. But we keep our cat bias to ourselves, knowing that we're essentially outcasts in a doggy dog world.
My two calicos, along with a grey & white, tan & white, tuxedo cat and my regular visitors, a solid black cat and another black cat, as well as an orange ocelot-print lookalike would agree: Cats Rule.
Squiggy has beautiful crisp markings. I noticed in his previous picture, he almost qualifies as a tuxedo cat. But his shirt and spats are quite decadent and well outside the legal limit for a tuxedo cat. That's a feline rebel.
So tallying up the votes on this side of the computer: yes to Squiggy. Meow. Meow, meow, meow, meow and meow. And for those wandering outside at the moment and unable to cast their vote - meow, meow and meow.
It's clearly a landslide victory. Squiggy in 2008.
