As usual, an editorial cartoonist exposes the truth.

The leftist wackos who want nationalized medicine would NEVER admit that military/veterans medical care is already a living example of what government-funded universal health care would be like.

Never mind the probable fact that the military runs the best emergency rooms, out of necessity in combat zones.

It is when one gets into what might be called "ordinary care" that government medical programs run into trouble.

If Canada and England aren't good enough examples, we can look right here at home to see what service the government provides to its most deserving clients.

And at what unmeasurable cost to taxpayers to extend even sub-mediocre universal health care to the swarm of users who have never bothered to take care of themselves?

Oh, the agony of thinking about it . . .
