The popular media reports make it sound like Bollinger was all over Mr. Unwelcome, allowing some pundits to say it was a major USA victory. It must have shocked the media to its core that Bollinger even offered what sounded to me like token criticism of Mr. Unwelcome. This wasn't a victory for Bollinger, Columbia U, or the USA. It was a colossal blunder for Columbia to give this lunatic a legitimate forum to express his hateful opinions. If his ability to be in the USA is based on the presence of the UN Headquarters here, then that is one more reason why we should dis-establish that perverse organization.

Wretchard at The Belmont Club called it. Mr. Amadinnerjacket (who runs secret police agencies and terror prisons) got a great dressing down from some one used to faculty club dinners.
