Meat vs. Fish

Unlike Gerg Gutfeld and Joe Sherlock, I do like seafood, but Gutfeld's explanation of why he won't partake of the ocean's bounty is pretty funny.

Look. I don't eat seafood. Never have. Never will. I have my reasons. First, people say fish is good if it doesn't smell "fishy." I don't say that about steak. "Hey at least it doesn't smell steaky." Fish stink because they come from the sea - which is a giant toilet. People pee in it. No one pees on cows, unless the cow has requested as much in a Craigslist ad. And shellfish are oversized insects. If they were smaller, they would be roaches. However, a tiny cow is basically a meat ball. And meat balls are delicious, because they're essentially meat, in ball-form.

Good point about cows and Craigslist. I think I'll have the steak.

Fish, like steak, will stink if you let it. Meat, whether from land or sea, is a dead carcass and will stink if allowed to decompose. The sea is a giant toilet, just like the ground is. Animals, bugs, birds and everything else uses the ground for a toilet, that makes the grass grow and then they eat it. Fertilizers and nitrates come from animal waste on land as it does in the ocean. The difference is that land makes up 25% of thin layer known as the surface of this planet, as opposed to the sea, which covers the other 75% and is quite deeper offering more space for all that waste to process. People don't pee on cows or chickens any more than they do fish, but it's all part of the cycle one way or another. If you put yourself one step further away from the plants (the purest form of food for humans) then you are eating all this other non-nourishing crap that has wonderful benefits ranging from after meal sleepiness, colon cancer and whatever the after effects of mass hormones and antibiotics will be in the coming years. Though meat has more protein by weight, its nowhere near as easy for your body to absorb, or use. Eating meat for nutrition is like trying to carry a bucket of water that has many holes in it. You'll get a little water to where you want it, but you're spilling a lot (90% nutrition loss from plant to animal to human). Eating vegetables for nutrition is like using a bucket half the size with a small hole or two. Getting the food straight from the source makes it easier for your body to absorb.
There's nothing wrong with eating insects, unless you think they're "icky", several species do it and it's a great source of nutrition, you should try it. Many cultures, older than ours, have eaten insects as a regular source of nutrition.
Meat balls, bacon, roast chicken, deep fried turkey and damn near any other type of meat is very delicious. So is a laundry list of other garbage that we love to eat, but that doesn't mean it should be a part of every meal. If you think it's OK to eat meat all the time because it's delicious, you should add other tasty treats, like doughnuts, white bread and pork rinds.
