Comet Holmes
Jeff, the stargazer at LaLunaSky.com, snagged an image of the comet flaring up in Perseus, mentioned below.
Head on over to his site and look around; it's amazing what amateur astronomers can see from their backyard observatories.

Mike,
I appreciate the image post, but it seems I captured too much data and blew out the image. Here's a new image from last night.
Now, you can actually see the comet ! I guess you could say it's my correction ... my apologies to your learned readers and others .... ;-)
