I keep reading that the Russians, French and others prefer Obama over McCain by wide margins. Electing Obama would be the national equivalent of the United States cutting its own penis off. Our enemies and competition around the world would naturally love to see American liberals neuter Uncle Sam.

Today's foot-in-mouth award goes to the Democratic congressman who got carried away comparing Obama to Jesus, and then pointed out that Pontius Pilate was a governor. Wonder who HE was referring to? Limbaugh went ballistic with that one . . .

I'm reading the comments to this cartoon and can't help but muse that they appear to come from men. Do you men, who I presume are Republican, know McCain's history on women's issues? On family issues? On the issues of race or gender that become more and more important in this time? Who give a rat's ass what Limbaugh says? Let's talk about people who matter and have a voice that means something to the American people.

Dawn, here's one thing I know about McCain. He picked a woman to run with where Barack Obama picked Joe Biden, a far inferior candidate than Hillary Clinton. Even Biden himself admits that Hillary is a better choice.
Obama called a female newspaper reporter "sweetie" in a demeaning manner on the campaign trail.
White women are now flocking to McCain because they realize that he is better for women than Obama will ever be.
